We are a 100% Indigenous owned and operated business.

Our business had been operating by our Principal Consultant, Janelle Brown, for over 20 years under the name JKB Consulting which primarily operated on the North Coast of New South Wales. In 2021 after a name change and a new vision for our future, FNCA looks forward to continuing to work with Aboriginal communities Australia wide.

Our product is Indigenous knowledge and expertise, together with a range of specialist skills. Our product is provided through our assistance in the development of projects with an Indigenous focus and through culturally appropriate training programs.

Services Provided

Assisting Aboriginal organisations with capacity building through policy development, organisational reviews, training, strategic planning and other tools.

Assisting Aboriginal communities to identify solutions to impacting issues through community plans, research projects and feasibility studies and other tools.

Assisting non-Aboriginal organisations to ensure culturally safe workplaces and culturally competent service provision by facilitating cultural awareness training, Reconciliation Action Plans development support and other tools.

Principal Consultant – Janelle Brown

Janelle Brown the principal consultant of First Nations Consultants, Australia (FNCA) is a Bundjalung woman from Grafton on the North Coast of NSW. (Janelle also acknowledges her family ties to the Gumbaynggirr, Dunghutti, Yaegl and Yuin nations.)
